Erasmus Intensive Language Courses (EILC) in Lithuania

Students coming to Lithuania for Erasmus studies or placements have the opportunity to learn Lithuanian language and culture and to prepare themselves for their mobility period in Lithuania.

The courses are held only at beginner / intermediate level.

Who can apply

Students whose are accepted by their home institution as Erasmus students in Lithuania.

NOTE: Students whose main subject of studies is Lithuanian language or who speaks Lithuanian are not eligible to participate.

Comenius and Grundtvig Assistants can also apply as soon as their Assistant status will be confirmed (June - August 2012).

NOTE: Erasmus students have priority for EILC and Comenius/Grudtvig Assistants will be accepted only if there is a surplus of places on a course.

How to apply

Erasmus students should fill out the application form and send electronically to their home institution (International Office). For application deadline, check with the international office at your university. International Office will send students' applications by e-mail to EILC Organising institutions (to both 1st and 2nd choice).

Comenius/Grundtvig Assistants apply directly to the EILC Organising institution by filling out this application form.

Deadlines for the International Office to send students' applications and for Comenius/Gruntvig Assistants to send their applications to EILC Organising institutions:

• 1st June 2012 (for summer courses);

• 30th October 2012 (for winter courses).
