| Description of partner's role |
We are a group of independent English language schools in Dublin, London and Totnes with
over 40 years combined experience teaching English as a foreign language. We are also
involved in Leonardo projects through our internship and language course schemes. Working
with partners across Europe to provide unpaid internships in Dublin, London and Totnes and
linguistic training and practical support whilst the interns are in the UK or Ireland.
In addition Dublin and Totnes cater are registered on the Grundtvig database for our
Courses for Foreign Teachers of English. Furthermore two of our three schools are engaged
in the VET4VIP project, developing an English training course for teachers to develop
the skills required to teach English to partially sighted learners. This multilateral project
involves partnership with 9 other organisations across the European Community.
Moreover we have run closed group Commenius funded courses tailor made to specific
groups needs. As hosting partners we can provide support and expertise to sending
organisations as well as maintaining and enhancing the European wide reputation of our
partners with our high quality product.
We approach each partnership anew, developing and modifying our services according to
the needs of the targeted particpant group.Our medium sized language schools provide the
perfect supportive environment for participants looking to enhance their career prospects,
gain invaluable international work experience or develop the confidence and language skills
to get back to work after a period of unemployment. |
